It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kirtley Nelson (Meherrin, Virginia), born in Richmond, Virginia, who passed away on November 20, 2018, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her siblings, Paul R. Kirtley, Jr. and Myrtle K. Scott. She is survived by: her husband Walter William "Billy" Nelson; and her children, Barbara Poulston (Bill) of Farmville and Kenneth William Nelson of Meherrin.
