He is survived by: his wife Althea George of Meherrin, VA; his brother Hal George of Pensacola, FL; his children, Melissa Inman (Weldon) of Perry, FL, Angie Mathis of Tallahassee, FL, Jimmy George (Teresa) of Florida, Michael George (Lisa) of Richmond, VA and Robert Lee George of Sanford, NC; and his stepdaughters, Amanda Hatfield of Prospect, VA, Elizabeth Colton (John) of Meherrin, VA, Sharron Shook (James) of Meherrin, VA and Rachel Wilson (Rodney) of Burkeville, VA. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
