She was predeceased by: her parents, Hascue Stout and Etta Stout of Bluefield, WV.. She is survived by: her husband James E Powell (Jimmy); her sister Charlotte Stout; her son Cory; her daughter-in-law Merideth; and her granddaughters, Abby and Maddie. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials made to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America would be greatly appreciated.
