With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Tommy Johnson of Mechanicsville, Virginia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence O. Johnson and Mildred C. Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Groome Johnson; his children, Rodney Johnson, Tricia Jones (Mark) and Owen Johnson (Kim); his grandchildren, Kayla Carpenter (Josh), Blair Mallory (Ryan), Garrett Jones (Jordan), Bryce Jones, Lane Johnson and Brianne Johnson; his great grandchildren, Bodie and Patrick; and his siblings, Betty Jean Hayes and Curtis Johnson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and cherished friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Fairmount Christian Church (6502 Creighton Rd, Mechanicsville, VA 23111). A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
