It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stuart Bryant Thorpe Sr. (Mechanicsville, Virginia), who passed away on September 1, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Hunter M. Thorpe and Pearl T. Thorpe. He is survived by: his wife June Bunch Thorpe; his children, Stuart Bryant Thorpe Jr. (Brenda), Hunter Todd Thorpe (Lydia) and Beth Thorpe Rowe (Mike); and his grandsons, Thomas Banks Thorpe and Pierce Bryant Thorpe.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Fairmount Christian Church/U and I Class, P.O. Box 788, Mechanicsville, Va. 23111.
