It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Marie Thompson (Mechanicsville, Virginia), born in Wyalusing, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 5, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. Jack C. Thompson. She is survived by: her children, Colin Thompson, Becky Dew (Billy), Sheldon Thompson (Cindy), Jill Kennedy, Wesley Thompson (Carol) and Kerry Thompson; and her grandchildren, Kelly (Neal), Michael, Jonathan (Rachael), Spencer, Kristin, Dylan (Auguste), Noah, Jacy, Bailey, Quinn, Carlin, Blake (Morgan) and Carter. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
