She was predeceased by: her parents, Edna Stevens and John Stevens; and her nephew Jeffrey Scott Zapantis. She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Lee Colgin; her children, Brian Colgin (Brandy) and Kelley Loving (Scott); her grandchildren, Christopher, Tyler, Noah (Sydney), Daniel, Trevor and Alyssa; and her sisters, Janice Harris and Brenda Zapantis (George).
