With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sandra Perkins Lawson of Mechanicsville, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 22, 2025 at the age of 85. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Perkins and Mildred Perkins (Billie). She is survived by: her husband Jack Bently Lawson; her children, Joe Lawson (Karen), Sharon Wright (Danny) and Bonnie Wood (Paul); her grandchildren, Angela Lawson (Peter), Brian Lawson (Charil), Scott Poindexter (Jess), Justin Wood (Bonnie), Devon Drumm, Dana Robinson (Nate) and Dayley Taylor (Joe); and her siblings, Martha Longworth (Sue) and Tommy Atkinson (Angie). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A reception will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Woody Funeral Home (9271 Shady Grove Rd, Mechanicsville, VA 23116).
