It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Samuel R. Sutton Jr. of Mechanicsville, Virginia, who passed away on January 29, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Renick Sutton, Sr. and Madeline Ragland; his stepfather Bonny Ragland; and his sister Bonnie Kerney (Robert). He is survived by: his wife Pat "Patsy" Sutton; his children, Pam Wright (David), Michael Sutton (Teresa) and Jimmy Sutton (Kim); his grandchildren, Chris, Heather (Pete), Austin and Megan; his great grandchildren, Landon, Bekah and Chy; and his stepsister Priscilla Akers.
