She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Rigsby and Eugenia Rigsby; her husband Welford Tate; and her siblings, Wilson, Leslie Rigsby and Joyce Soghoian.
She is survived by: her children, Don Tate (Anne), Ricky Tate (Teresa) and Karen Stanley (Ray); her grandchildren, Nathan Tate (Sally), Kirby Striano (Jimmy), Megan Stanley, Brandon Tate, Travis Stanley and Adam Tate; her great grandchildren, Rachel, Haylie, Evan Striano, William and Greyson Tate; and her siblings, Bill Rigsby and Edna Jones.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Dementia Society of America or Mechanicsville Baptist Church.
