He was predeceased by: his sister Barbara Vanlandingham. He is survived by: his wife Gay P. Mitchell; his sons, Glenn Mitchell (Mandy) and Cary Mitchell (Greta); his granddaughter Riley Mitchell; his great-nephew Ryan Shipman; and his brother Aubrey Mitchell (Brenda). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hanover Ruritan Club or the Lee-Davis Sports Hall of Fame.
