He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd S. Riggle and Irene Bennett Riggle. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Winslow Riggle; his children, Roger Bennett Riggle, Jr. (Mary Ellen Tasillo), Amy Elizabeth Riggle and Angela Riggle Mathews (Tim); his grandchildren, Hannah Elizabeth, Isaiah Floyd and Luke Bennett Mathews; and his brother Dewey Nelson Riggle (Joan). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

The family prefers that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to First English Lutheran Church.
