It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Blade of Mechanicsville, Virginia, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 28, 2023, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Blade and Eleanor Blade (Cantwell); and his sisters, Barbara Donahue and Margaret Hoffman. He is survived by: his son Christopher Hill (Christine); his grandchildren, Evelyn, Natalie and Teagan; his siblings, Frank (Dina), Jerry (Doris), James (Michelle), Bill (Lisa), Joe (Helen) and Chris (Tina); his siblings-in-law, Christine Blade, Janet Davidson (Dennis), Don Ferguson (Nancy) and Dennis Ferguson (Joy); and his pets, Foster and Beamer.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations made in his name to Knights of Columbus KOVAR and/or Alzheimer's Foundation of America.
