He was predeceased by: his parents, Harriett Giles and Oscar Giles. He is survived by: his children, J. R. (Kanda) and Jessaca (William); his grandchildren, Kiersten, Carson and Bronson; and his brother Oscar Jr.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
