It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patricia Sims Slack (Mechanicsville, Virginia), who passed away on April 17, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Patricia Sims Slack to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, J. Stuart Sims and Lois Ligon Sims; her sister Harriet Miller; and her husband William E. Slack. She is survived by: her children, Bill Slack (Tara), Jan Downer (Mike) and Craig Slack; and her grandchildren, Kathy, Chris Slack, Mike and Brian Downer. She is also survived by six great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mechanicsville Baptist Church.
