We are sad to announce that on January 27, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Osborne Powell Martin of Mechanicsville, Virginia. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Tribb Powell and Carrie Southard Martin; and his wife Barbara Baldwin Martin. He is survived by: his sons, William O. "Billy" Martin and Osborne P. "Skipper" Martin, Jr.; his grandchildren, Jared and Joey Martin; and his daughter-in-law Leanne Martin. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mechanicsville Chapel of the Bennett Funeral Home (8014 Lee Davis Road, Mechanicsville, Virginia 23111). A masonic service was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the ACCA Shrine Transportation Fund, 1712 Bellevue Ave. Richmond, 23227.
