He was predeceased by: his wife Catherine J. Harper; his parents, Richard W. and Annie Mae Harper; and his brother Marvin Harper of Tacoma. He is survived by: his sons, Thomas R. Harper (Laura) and Dennis Harper (Ellen); his grandchildren, Cynthia and Richard; and his sister-in-law Janice Johnson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
