She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Johnson and Jessie Parker; her siblings, Logreta Mutchie (Phil) and Larry Johnson (Margaret); and her sister-in-law Mary Francis Ennis.
She is survived by: her husband Joe Oakley; her children, Alesia Oakley Whelen (Jim), Leanne Oakley Martin (Billy) and Steven Oakley; her grandchildren, Jared, Joey Martin, Claire, Emily and Nicholas Whelen; her great grandchild Grayson; her brother Ronnie Parker (Susan); and her grandsons, Kevin and Connor. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family and devoted friends.
