She was predeceased by: her husband Lewis L. Brizendine; her stepson Lee Roy Brizendine; and her siblings, Elmo, John, Bill, Burke Elgin, Edna Plank and Edith Rowh.
She is survived by: her siblings, Frankie Elgin (Barbara), Alan Elgin (Mary Ann), Doris RePass and Lorraine Worthman (Calvin); her stepson Bobby Norman; her stepdaughter-in-law Grace Brizendine; and her grandchildren, Neil, Sue, Pam, Curtis and Joanie. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-grandchildren and friends.
