She is survived by: her husband Paul Gates; her daughter Brenda Spielman; her grandchildren, Victoria Spielman and Mark Spielman (Carla Tierney Spielman); and her great grandchildren, Caitie Spielman and Meri Spielman. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
