She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernie Lee and Eula Childress Walker; her husband George L. Lord, Jr.; and her siblings, Lillian May, Helen Marie Walker, Ruth W. Marshall, Beatrice W. Gowin, Vernie Lee and James Wesley Walker.
She is survived by: her son George R. "Roddy" Lord. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and loving friends.
