He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ann Thomas; his children, Christina Wingard (Andrew), Teresa Acosta (Miguel), Bryan Thomas (Corrie) and Whitney Scarborough (Johnathan); his grandchildren, Rebecca Taylor, Harrison Andrews, Andrew Acosta, David Acosta, Michael Acosta, Lauren Acosta, Leigha Acosta, Taylor Deanda, Kirsten Thomas, Hayden Thomas, Cortney Thomas, Preslea Thomas, Ashtyn Thomas, Bryce Thomas, Rylee Thomas and Dean Scarborough; his great grandchild Hunter Acosta; and his brother Denny Thomas.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Monaghan Funeral Home Chapel (7300 Creighton Pkwy, Mechanicsville, VA 23111). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Victory Baptist Church (6313 Clover Ln, Richmond, VA 23228). A burial was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Amelia Veterans Cemetery.
