She was predeceased by: her husband Jack D. Fields; her parents, William Jacobs and Bettie Jacobs; and her former husband Joe C. Cobb. She is survived by: her daughters, Brenda Cobb Apple, Connie Cobb Gaulding (Tony) and Rhonda Fields Haywood (Bill). She is also survived by five grandsons; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
