We are sad to announce that on August 18, 2020, at the age of 96, Mattie Frances Roane of Mechanicsville, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her nephew Vincent Roane (Margaret); her niece Sheila Kate Roane; her sister-in-law Lucille Roane; her great-nephews, George Ashton (Monique), Randolph Ashton (Lydia) and Joseph Roane (Shannon); and also, Andrew, Conrad Ashton, Sydney and Jordan Ashton. She is also survived by relatives and friends.

Interment will be private.Memorials may be made to the League of Women Voters or the Democratic Party.
