With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mabel Delores Matheny of Mechanicsville, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 19, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Reverend Don Matheny; and her parents, Dewey Holeston O'Conner and Mabel Spangler O'Conner of Covington Virginia. She is survived by: her sons, Mike (Sheila) and Mark (Audrey); her grandchildren, Ashley (Mike), Nicole (Tre), Cory (Natalie), Brandi (Jason) and Adam (Jess); her great grandchildren, Hutton, Emory, Brooks, Harper, Rylee and Iain; and her sister Peggy.

Flowers are welcome or donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
