She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Hopkins and Rosa Quarles Hawkins; her son Leroy; her husband Nathan Glenn (Bethany Baptist Church); her siblings, Raymond Quarles, Jenny Freeman and Virginia Elder; and her nephew Leroy Braxton (Bessie).
She is survived by: her former husband Franklin Braxton; her son Richard Braxton (Hazel); her grandchildren, Richard L Braxton Junior, Latonya Jackson, Cynthia Jenkins, Carol Banks, Leisa Liverpool and Michelle Braxton; and her great grandchildren, Anastasia Gaines and Ausar Jackson.
