He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Hoffmann and Margarette Hoffmann. He is survived by: his wife Joan Thompson Hoffmann; his stepdaughter Karen S. Pleasants of Henrico; his brother-in-law Benjamin Thompson (Frank); his daughter Bonnie H. Weis; and his siblings, Robert W. Hoffmann (Dana) and Ann H. Isenberg (Barry) of Rockville. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
