With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lois J. Vencill of Mechanicsville, Virginia, who passed away on October 28, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Lois' memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Lois' journey be filled with peace and serenity, as her find rest in the embrace of eternity.

She was predeceased by: her spouse Cecil Floyd Vencill; her daughters, Deborah Loraine Vencill Lewis and Judith Elaine Vencill Purcell; and her granddaughter Erica Rene Parry. She is survived by: her children, Cecil Eugene Vencill, Cherry Lee Vencill Drinkard and Dale Edward Vencill. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.

Viewing was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Affinity Funeral Service (8074 Mechanicsville Tpke, Mechanicsville, VA 23111). A graveside service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Signal Hill Memorial Park (12360 Hanover Courthouse Rd, Hanover, VA 23069).
