She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Lewis, Sr. and Golden Lewis; her husband William I. Brooks, Sr.; and her brother Henry Lewis, Jr.. She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Ollie Lewis (Ann), Loretta Demby (Ernest, Sr.), William Brooks, Jr., Herbert Brooks, Robert L. Brooks (Barbara) and Leo Brooks, Sr. (Lilia); and her siblings, Mary Taylor, Lillie Matthews, Emily Allen, George Lewis and James Lewis (Letha). She is also survived by 23 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren.
