It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Juerlene Cox of Mechanicsville, Virginia, who passed away on April 17, 2023, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Edwin B. Cox, Sr.; her parents, Ernest Reid Lawson and Hattie M. Lawson of Amelia; and her siblings, Ray, Marvin, Moyer, Franklin, Lester, Alton, Gladys, Mildred and Estelle.
She is survived by: her children, Edwin B. Cox, Jr. (Sue) of Mechanicsville and Linda L. Jones (Bobby) of Aylett, VA; her grandchildren, Robert E. Jones, Jr. (Robby), Kasey L. Jones (J. C.), Amy M. Jones, Virginia, Hattie and Hazel; her stepgrandchildren, Jerry, Robert Dean Grubbs (Jodi) of Garner, NC, Ryan Daniel Grubbs (Kristin) and Robin Dawn Grubbs (Todd) of Mechanicsville, VA.; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Caroline, Caleb Grubbs, Jessica Russell of Mechanicsville and Lili Grubbs of Garner, NC.. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
