We are sad to announce that on May 17, 2022, at the age of 70, José M. Salgado of Mechanicsville, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucilla Rico and Prithiany Salgado; and his brother Florenthia Salgado of Spain. He is survived by: his wife Pamela S. Salgado; his children, Evelyn Maria Salgado (Jeff Weinert), Daniel J. Salgado of Germany and Ian Salgado (Jancy); his siblings, Angel Salgado (Carmen) and Magdalena Rico (Eduardo) of Spain; and his grandchildren, Shara, Matthew and Dionte Salgado. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers charitable donations may be made to Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital online or by mail.
