With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John W. Kennedy Jr. of Mechanicsville, Virginia, born in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 27, 2024. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Kennedy and Vivian Kennedy (Wilson); his former wife Ann J. Kennedy (McDougald); and his siblings, Dorothy Chavez and Ken Kennedy.
He is survived by: his sister Juanita Weeks; his children, Virginia A. Weaver (Bob), Carolyn S. Armstrong (Jim), John D. Kennedy (Cindy) and James M. Kennedy (Patty); his grandchildren, Rob Bailey, Chad Armstrong, Jonathan Armstrong, Shawn Kennedy, Josh Kennedy and Hilary Curtis; his great grandchildren, Jacob Bailey, Emma Armstrong, Grace Armstrong, Bailey Carter, Carter Armstrong, Owen Armstrong, Reagan Armstrong, Sammy Armstrong, Patrick Kennedy, Elizabeth Kennedy, Victoria Curtis and Wyatt Curtis; and his great great grandchildren, Josephine Bailey and Allison Bailey.
