I was in the room when in walks John with his big, captivating smile and our friendship began, and we shared many laughs. I can hear him now playing "Stairway to Heaven." :) With his warm embracing personality, we put together tournament winning teams for Ferrum's intramural softball and football competitions. I am blessed to have known John. Giant hug!! Duke”
