He is survived by: his wife Lola Noel Collins; his sons, Gary Collins (Lydia) and Joseph Collins (Melissa); his grandchildren, Gary (Amy), Greg (Katie), Maddie and Carter; and his great grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Bailey and Fiona.
