She was predeceased by: her husband Charles P Fleet Sr.; her parents, Frederick Jones and Merle Swift; her stepfather William Swift; and her sisters, Milly Robertson and Mary Walls.
She is survived by: her children, Marie DePersis (late Angelo) of Mechanicsville and Charles Fleet Jr. (Cecilia) of Mechanicsville; her grandchildren, Michael DePersis (Emily), Michelle Puckett (Scotty), Brian Fleet (Alex), Christina Dawson (Caitlin) and Christopher Fleet (Mackenzie); and her great grandchildren, Stephen, Andrew DePersis, Brianna, Noah Puckett, Aryia and Elizabeth Fleet. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in the name of Janis Fleet to Mechanicsville United Methodist Church designated to Lucy Blanton Circle.
