He was predeceased by: his parents, James Monroe Beck Sr. and Alice Jones Beck; and his close friend Nick Fisher. He is survived by: his wife Jean Edmonds Beck; his sons, Michael and Chris (Jen); his grandchildren, Melanie (Kendall), Nicholas, Alex, Abby, Hannah, Fizzy, Charlotte and Benjamin; and his great grandchildren, Kaide and Keaton.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Bennett Funeral Home (8014 Lee Davis Rd, Mechanicsville, VA 23111).
