He was predeceased by: his wife Serena McCauley; his son Michael McCauley; his sister Betty Adkins; and his parents, Ethel and James McCauley, Sr..
He is survived by: his daughters, Karen Miller (Scott) and Janet Hudson (Glen); his grandchildren, Scott Miller Jr. (Julianna), Brittney Miller, Channon Miller, Cory Miller, Amanda Jones (Justin), Stephen Fox (Gia), Zachary Hudson and Katherine Hudson; his great grandchildren, Benjamin and Dominic; his siblings, Joe McCauley (Cathy), Nancy Osby and Frances Hutchinson; and his pet Bear.
The family will hold a memorial service at a later date pending Covid.
In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to the Parkinson's foundation or a charity of your choice.
