He was predeceased by: his parents, James G. Dickinson and Mary Barlow Dickinson; his siblings, George Edwin Dickinson and Diane D. Smethers; and his granddaughter Kaitlyn Marie Douglas.
He is survived by: his wife Gwen Dickinson; his children, Nancy Moore, Jeni Douglas, Kristie Dickinson, James Dickinson III, Tommy Dickinson (Brooke), Angie Dickinson and Adam Dickinson (Angie K.); his stepchildren, Joel, John, Jason, Collins and Sara; his grandchildren, Jessica, Tyler, Hannah, Lauren, Hailie, Jacob, Emily, Ethan, Addison, Kylee, Aiden and Jax; his stepgrandchildren, Elizabeth, Wyatt, Connor, Ren, Louis and Jane; and his siblings, Mary F. Lewis and William "Billy" Dickinson. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
