He is survived by: his wife Vera Marie Irmen; his daughter Karin Latimer; his grandchildren, Sara-Ann Irmen and Maggie Latimer; his son Richard Irmen; his grandchildren, Alexis Irmen, Riley Irmen and Chloe Irmen; his sister Johanna Klasen (Hartmut); his niece Eva Boettcher; his great-nieces, Anna and Laura; and also, Ines Dings (Benjamin), Emil and Suzanna Schmitt. He is also survived by his family and friends.
Before the pandemic, he would return to Germany every year to visit his siblings and their families.
