He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert and Bertha; and his siblings, Nellie, Josephine, Louise, Charlie and Doug.

He is survived by: his wife Charlotte; his son Gene (Margaret); his grandchildren, Corey of Mechanicsville and Melissa (Chris) of Mechanicsville; and his sister Kathleen (Bob) of Mechanicsville. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hanover Fire and EMS.
