She was predeceased by: her parents, Earle Jane Davenport Brown and Charles Raymond Brown, Sr.; her husband George Hunter Bowles; her sons, Charles Raymond "Buddy" Bowles and Bruce Carlton Bowles; her grandson David Bowles; and her brother Charles "Ray" Brown, Jr..
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Amy Bowles and Benjamin Bowles (Sarah); her great grandchild Hadley Kate Bowles; her nephew Paul G. Brown; her sister-in-law Betty J. Bowles; her daughter-in-law Laurie W. Martin; her nieces, Kim Bailey, Sarah Koris and Martha Walker; and her friend Lindy Oakley.
