She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmett Eugene and Mary Pauline Garner Paschal; her husband Jay; and her siblings, Gene, Harvey, Jerry, William, Glenn Paschal, Virginia Keuhner, Catherine Otts and Beverly Branton.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Puryear (Sharon), Dennis Puryear (Susan), Robert Puryear and Susan Gentry; her grandchildren, Shannon Hicks (Kyle), Willow Puryear, Ricky Gentry and Daryl Gentry (Laura); her great grandchild Mason Gentry; and her siblings-in-law, Frank Puryear (Ina) and Emily Paschal of Rome, Georgia. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
