She was predeceased by: her parents, Eliezer Artola and Maria Conzuegra; and her brother Enrique Artola of Havana, Cuba.. She is survived by: her son Athanasios Karakatsiotis (Suzane); her grandchildren, Austin (Rebecca), Andrew, Alana, Caitlyn (Tiffany) and James; her great grandchildren, Dylan Kirby, Dustin McMillan and Malakai Gayle; her friends, Anna Myers, Miriam Martell (Wayne) and Mabel Pleasants (Gerald); and her niece Yailin Torres (Ernesto).
