He was predeceased by: his parents, Earnest L. Owen and Pearl Owen; his wife Carol Elizabeth Owen; and his son John Eric Owen. He is survived by: his son Jeffrey Scott Owen (Cathy); his granddaughter Christy Owen; his great grandchildren, Lilly and Evan Harris; his daughter Kimberley Kay Howell (Marc); his grandson Zachary (Abigail); his great grandchildren, Harper and Oakley; and his grandchildren, Katheryn, Samantha (Taylor), Lauren Howell and Gabriel Owen.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Mechanicsville Chapel of the Bennett Funeral Home (8014 Lee Davis Road, Mechanicsville, Virginia 23111). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
