He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Vesley and Mary Vesley; and his son Edward Joseph Vesley (Eddie). He is survived by: his wife Mary Marano Vesley; his children, Kathy Vesley-Massey (Bill) and Daniel; his sister Margaret V. Novelli; his stepdaughters, Robin Carlton (Al), Tammy Bland and Mary Katherine Chamberlain (Scott); and his nephew Chris Novelli. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Monaghan Funeral Home Chapel (7300 Creighton Pkwy, Mechanicsville, VA 23111). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Monaghan Funeral Home (7300 Creighton Pkwy, Mechanicsville, VA 23111). A burial will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Washington Memorial Park (6217 Memorial Dr, Sandston, VA 23150).
