She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Carl Wimberly and Thelma Staton Stanley (Henry); her sister Alice Wimberly Miles; and her husband Aubrey Hill Anderson Jr.. She is survived by: her stepson Jason Douglas Anderson (Anna); her sisters, Kathy Stanley Grizzard (Rob) and Robin Stanley Carroll (Lou); her brother-in-law Lucky Miles; her grandchildren, Gracie, Caleb and Chase Anderson; and her niece Carol Thombs Evers (Dave).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in her honor to MDA Association.
