He was predeceased by: his wife Joan D. Guild; and his daughter Donna Lee Wolverton. He is survived by: his son Stuart Guild; his grandchildren, Heather Wolverton, Bryan Wolverton, Scott Guild (Tiffany) and Carrie Fields (Dean); his great grandchildren, Tabitha Guild and Stuart Fields; his siblings, Patricia G. Robertson, Roy Guild and Courtney Guild; his daughter-in-law Judy Guild; his son Plumbing Contractors; and also, Heating Contractors and Mechanical Contractors.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to VCU Massey Cancer Center, P.O. Box 843042, Richmond, Va. 23284.
