It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Arthur Simpson (Mechanicsville, Virginia), who passed away on December 11, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his close friend Ron Furr; his wife Linda J. Simpson; his daughters, Deana Lape (Bryon) and Lauren McCormick (Jerry); his grandchildren, Keleigh, Zechariah Lape, John and Sean McCormick; and his sister Gerry Hinig.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association.
