He was predeceased by: his wife Sandra Fitchett Baird; his siblings, Sharon Baird Sizemore and Joseph Baird II; and his parents, Joseph Baird and Rachel Sprouse Baird.
He is survived by: his daughter Katie Baird. He is also survived by his mother's-in-law, numerous nieces, nephews, siblings-in-law, cousins and friends.
