He was predeceased by: his wife Catherine "Kitty" Bew Petke; his parents, Frederick Wilhelm and Ellen Mearle Dunn Petke; and his siblings, W. Ralph Petke, Thomas F. Petke, Ellen P. Mayo and Stuart M. Petke Sr..

He is survived by: his large extendeds, Dunn and Bew.
